Bio360 Africa 2026 - a Resounding Success
The inaugural edition of Bio360 Africa, a first-of-its-kind event on the African continent, was abuzz with palpalble enthusisam, excitement and engagement from stakeholder across the bioenergy and bioeconomy sectors.
Bio360 Africa was been conceived to accelerate the deployment of bioenergy and the wider bioeconomy across Africa, helping to establish them as major pillars of the continent's future energy mix and circular economy and already, from the word go, reflected the international collaboration and exchange of ideas needed to drive the sector forward, with participants joining the event from across the globe, represented by :
- 10 African countries - Botswana (bw), Ghana (gh), Kenya (ke), Malawi (mw), Mozambique (mz), Namibia (na), Eswatini (sz), Tunisia (tn), South Africa (za), Zimbabwe (zw)
and
- 13 countries from beyond Africa’s shores - Belgium (be), Switzerland (ch), China (cn), Germany (de), Spain (es), France (fr), United Kingdom (gb), Italy (it), Lithuania (lt), Netherlands (nl), Norway (no), Sweden (se), United States (us)
